Per Aleksander Arneberg is a Norwegian-American who grew up spending his summers in Norway chasing trout in the mountains of Telemark, and sea trout and salmon on the west coast and Finnmark in famous rivers such as the Lærdal and the Alta.
By the age of 12, Per had landed his first large salmon, of 12kgs! In 2012, Per overtook the ownership and operation of the Norwegian Flyfishers Club, the premier Atlantic Salmon flyfishing outfit on the famous Gaula River in Norway. Since taking over, Per has worked to improve the operation, completing a brand new riverside lodge in 2014, and adding new and exciting water along the way.
When not in Norway, operating the NFC, Per resides on the East coast of the United States, where is actively chases striped bass, blue fish, false albacore and trout. When work allows, Per spends time traveling the world, fishing new and exciting destinations such as Russia, Iceland and South America.
