Tarquin Millington-Drake opened the Frontiers International UK office in 1993 and has overseen its evolution into the sporting institution it is today ever since. He has travelled to countless Frontiers’ destinations and remains involved with the day-to-day operations and management of Frontiers International as Managing Director.
He ran the operations at Ryabaga Camp on the Ponoi for close to ten years and also ran lodges in New Zealand, Iceland, the Seychelles, Alaska and Bahamas at the same time. His passion is Atlantic salmon where he has been lucky enough to enjoy 25+ years experience in Iceland, the same on the Alta in northern Norway and the same in Russia.
He is becoming a respected photographer with his first book A Year on the Moor, published in 2015 and reprinted in 2016. It tells the story of the life of a grouse moor. Enjoy TMD’s blog at blog.millingtondrake.com.
